Arlington Life Shelter is committed to assisting individuals and families impacted by homelessness in North Texas create a path to self-sufficiency.

The Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program is a Federally funded program regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), managed and operated in the City of Arlington by the Housing Authority of the City of Arlington (AHA). The funding source for the TBRA program is HUD HOME program funding. HUD allocates HOME funds to the City of Arlington annually. 

As the region’s largest social service provider, The Salvation Army enables God-powered transformations across Dallas, Tarrant and Ellis, Denton and Collin Counties.

The mission of Housing Channel is to revitalize distressed neighborhoods and to increase the amount of quality, affordable housing available to low- and moderate-income families and individuals with special housing needs.

Trinity Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

The City of Fort Worth’s Community Action Partners (CAP) serves as the Community Action Agency for Tarrant County and provides comprehensive services to economically disadvantaged individuals, families and the elderly. CAP changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs is the state agency responsible for affordable housing, community and energy assistance programs, colonia activities, and regulation of the state's manufactured housing industry.
